How to vacuum the above ground pool?

What materials are needed?
Before starting we would suggest you have all the items that ready, which are required for you to clean the pool. This would make your work easy and you would be able to work properly. These are a few things that you would need for the maintenance of the pool and these are,

- Skimmer or leaf rake
- Extension Pole
- Scrub brush
- Skimmer disk
What are the steps involved in the process?

So the steps that you need to follow are-
- The first step would be clean anything that is visible to the eyes. Like leaves, insects or any unwanted things floating on the pool. Make sure that you clear out all the things that might have fallen in your swimming pool. You can use a leaf rake or skimmer to carry out the task.
After cleaning is done to make sure that you run the motor and filter the water that would run in the swimming pool. For this, you would have to run the water through your swimming pool.
For the next step, you would need a vacuum cleaner, attach the swivel end of the vacuum hose to the head of the cleaner and then attach the extension pole to the head of the cleaner.
Now you would have to lower the cleaner in the pool, along with the attachments that we have just attached to it. Make sure that the end of the vacuum touches the bottom of the pool.
You can easily lock the position of the cleaner and direct it towards the side of the pool. Then hold the free end of the cleaner and fill the hose with water.
Keep the position of your hand in such a way that the hose stays submerged in the water and you can continue priming till the time there are no bubbles in the hose.
Now you can even attach a skimmer set to the hose and slip it to the hose to initiate the suction. If you have to attach the skimmer to the vacuum then make sure you take it out and do it quickly so that there is no scope of air getting into the hose.
